OK, I tackled this last week and here are the results (specfile + new patches):
http://rpm.greysector.net/fedora/open64/
It is now fully bootstrappable using compat-gcc-34(-c++).

I've also filed two bugs upstream:

Also I think you don't need to put licences other than GPLv2+ in the License:
tag, because the others are compatible.
