Summary: Review request: Mathgl - Scientific plotting library. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=478372 Summary: Review request: Mathgl - Scientific plotting library. Product: Fedora Version: 10 Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: medium Priority: low Component: Package Review AssignedTo: nobody@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: mycae@xxxxxxxxx QAContact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: notting@xxxxxxxxxx, fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx Estimated Hours: 0.0 Classification: Fedora SPEC URL: http://dhd.selfip.com/427e/mathgl.spec SRPM URL: http://dhd.selfip.com/427e/mathgl-1.8-1.fc10.src.rpm Description: Mathgl is a cross-platform library for making high-quality scientific graphics. It provides fast data plotting and handling of large data arrays, as well as window and console modes and for easy embedding into other programs. Mathgl integrates into fltk, wxWidgets, qt and opengl applications Rpmlint: Empty for spec file and SRPM. RPM returns one warning, notification has been sent upstream. mathgl.i386: W: shared-lib-calls-exit /usr/lib/libmgl-glut.so.5.0.0 exit@xxxxxxxxx This library package calls exit() or _exit(), probably in a non-fork() context. Doing so from a library is strongly discouraged - when a library function calls exit(), it prevents the calling program from handling the error, reporting it to the user, closing files properly, and cleaning up any state that the program has. It is preferred for the library to return an actual error code and let the calling program decide how to handle the situation. koji scratch: All arches appear to build succesfully.
