Summary: Old version header file /usr/include/linux/joystick.h
                    GOTCHA
           Product: Fedora Core
           Version: fc5
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: high
          Priority: normal
         Component: Package Review
        AssignedTo: notting@xxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: aye@xxxxxxx

Description of problem:

/usr/include/linux/joystick.h is version 1.1 and should be version 1.3 This is
the evil that gives you grief in communicating with joydev. The solution is to
get a copy of joystick.h from the kernel-devel or kernel source rpm.

/usr/src/kernels/2.6.16-1.2122_FC5-i686/include/linux/joystick.h
or
/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/kernel-2.6.16/vanilla/include/linux/joystick.h
respectively

I wonder how many other header files in /usr/include/linux are years out of
synch with the kernel. Please upgrade /usr/include/linux/joystick.h to version 1.3
