The spec should be using the kmodtool script that is in the SRPM. I just tested rebuilding the SRPM on FC5 with kernel 2.6.16-1.2111_FC5 and the build completed just fine. There's a new version of zaptel due within a few days so I'll be updating the SRPM with the new version.
