-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2025-cf67fefc7d 2025-01-06 02:15:49.984808+00:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : libedit Product : Fedora 41 Version : 3.1 Release : 54.20250104cvs.fc41 URL : https://www.thrysoee.dk/editline/ Summary : The NetBSD Editline library Description : Libedit is an autotool- and libtoolized port of the NetBSD Editline library. It provides generic line editing, history, and tokenization functions, similar to those found in GNU Readline. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Changes in version 20250104-3.1: Update autotools files remove redundant break statements after EL_ABORT Don't eat 0 width characters; print them Specify SA_ONSTACK when setting up a signal handler. This allows the handler to use the alternate signal stack if one is available in the handling thread, but has no effect otherwise. This change makes the signal handler respect existing choices better. Specifically, this allows signal handlers to be set when the process includes a Go runtime, since Go enforces that all signal handlers in the process use the SA_ONSTACK flag (e.g. see golang/go#20400). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Sat Jan 4 2025 Jerry James <loganjerry@xxxxxxxxx> - 3.1-54.20250104cvs - New version (20250104-3.1) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #2335589 - libedit-20250104-3.1 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2335589 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
