The KDE Connect team maintains cross-desktop, Android and Sailfish applications as well as an interface for KDE Plasma. GSConnect is a complete implementation of KDE Connect especially for GNOME Shell with Nautilus, Chrome and Firefox integration. It is does not rely on the KDE Connect desktop application and will not work with it installed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: GNOME 47 support is the driving reason for this release. Though, in contrast to the two previous GNOME versions, no code changes were required to make GSConnect compatible with GNOME 47. Among other changes, much of the work focused on fixing regressions due to upstream changes, such as: restoring "Generate Support Log" functionality; making sure tooltips display on top of the user menu; and preventing constant re-displaying of mirrored notifications.
