Name : python3.13
Product : Fedora 39
Version : 3.13.0~b4
Release : 1.fc39
URL : https://www.python.org/
Summary : Version 3.13 of the Python interpreter
Description :
Python 3.13 is an accessible, high-level, dynamically typed, interpreted
programming language, designed with an emphasis on code readability.
It includes an extensive standard library, and has a vast ecosystem of
third-party libraries.

The python3.13 package provides the "python3.13" executable: the reference
interpreter for the Python language, version 3.
The majority of its standard library is provided in the python3.13-libs package,
which should be installed automatically along with python3.13.
The remaining parts of the Python standard library are broken out into the
python3.13-tkinter and python3.13-test packages, which may need to be installed
separately.

Documentation for Python is provided in the python3.13-docs package.

Packages containing additional libraries for Python are generally named with
the "python3.13-" prefix.

Update Information:

The fourth beta preview of Python 3.13
Python 3.13 is still in development. This release, 3.13.0b4, is the final beta
release preview of 3.13.
Beta release previews are intended to give the wider community the opportunity
to test new features and bug fixes and to prepare their projects to support the
new feature release.
We strongly encourage maintainers of third-party Python projects to test with
3.13 during the beta phase and report issues found to the Python bug tracker as
soon as possible. While the release is planned to be feature complete entering
the beta phase, it is possible that features may be modified or, in rare cases,
deleted up until the start of the release candidate phase (Tuesday 2024-07-30).
Our goal is to have no ABI changes after this final beta release, and as few
code changes as possible after 3.13.0rc1, the first release candidate. To
achieve that, it will be extremely important to get as much exposure for 3.13 as
possible during the beta phase.
Please keep in mind that this is a preview release and its use is not
recommended for production environments.
