The xfontsel application provides a simple way to display the X11 core protocol
fonts known to your X server, examine samples of each, and retrieve the X
Logical Font Description (â??XLFDâ??) full name for a font.

Update Information:

xfontsel 1.1.1
Add -help and -version options.
Print which arguments were unknown before giving usage message.
Include config.h in xfontsel.c before checking for USE_GETTEXT. It will never be
true if we never include the file that defines it.
Use gettext() to localize messages if available
Fixed -Wshadow declaration warnings
