-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2024-2495644b12 2024-06-08 05:21:21.518584 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : duplicity Product : Fedora 40 Version : 3.0.0 Release : 2.fc40 URL : https://duplicity.gitlab.io/ Summary : Encrypted bandwidth-efficient backup using rsync algorithm Description : Duplicity incrementally backs up files and directory by encrypting tar-format volumes with GnuPG and uploading them to a remote (or local) file server. In theory many protocols for connecting to a file server could be supported; so far ssh/scp, local file access, rsync, ftp, HSI, WebDAV and Amazon S3 have been written. Because duplicity uses librsync, the incremental archives are space efficient and only record the parts of files that have changed since the last backup. Currently duplicity supports deleted files, full unix permissions, directories, symbolic links, fifos, device files, but not hard links. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: 3.0.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Fri May 31 2024 Gwyn Ciesla <gwync@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 3.0.0-2 - Disable tests on ppc64le * Wed May 29 2024 Gwyn Ciesla <gwync@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 3.0.0-1 - 3.0.0 * Thu May 23 2024 Gwyn Ciesla <gwync@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 2.2.4-1 - 2.2.4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #2283831 - duplicity-3.0.0 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2283831 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
