Version : 3.23.0
Release : 1.fc40
URL : https://www.valgrind.org/
Summary : Dynamic analysis tools to detect memory or thread bugs and profile
Description :
Valgrind is an instrumentation framework for building dynamic analysis
tools. There are Valgrind tools that can automatically detect many
memory management and threading bugs, and profile your programs in
detail. You can also use Valgrind to build new tools. The Valgrind
distribution currently includes six production-quality tools: a memory
error detector (memcheck, the default tool), two thread error
detectors (helgrind and drd), a cache and branch-prediction profiler
(cachegrind), a call-graph generating cache and branch-prediction
profiler (callgrind), and a heap profiler (massif).

Update Information:

New valgrind 3.23.0 upstream release. --track-fds=yes will now also warn about
double closing of file descriptors. --track-fds=yes also produces "real" errors
now which can be suppressed and work with --error-exitcode. The option --show-
error-list=no|yes now accepts a new value all. ARM64 now supports dotprod
instructions (sdot/udot). AMD64 better supports code build with
-march=x86-64-v3. S390X added support for NNPA (neural network processing
assist) facility vector instructions. The none tool now also supports xml
output.
