-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2023-71db4b9870 2023-09-15 18:36:13.242371 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : python-h11 Product : Fedora 39 Version : 0.14.0 Release : 1.fc39 URL : https://github.com/python-hyper/h11 Summary : A pure-Python, bring-your-own-I/O implementation of HTTP/1.1 Description : This is a little HTTP/1.1 library written from scratch in Python, heavily inspired by hyper-h2. It is a "bring-your-own-I/O" library; h11 contains no IO code whatsoever. This means you can hook h11 up to your favorite network API, and that could be anything you want: synchronous, threaded, asynchronous, or your own implementation of RFC 6214 -- h11 will not judge you. This also means that h11 is not immediately useful out of the box: it is a toolkit for building programs that speak HTTP, not something that could directly replace requests or twisted.web or whatever. But h11 makes it much easier to implement something like requests or twisted.web. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Update to version 0.14.0. https://github.com/python- hyper/h11/blob/v0.14.0/docs/source/changes.rst#h11-0140-2022-09-25 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Sat Sep 9 2023 Carl George <carlwgeorge@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 0.14.0-1 - Update to version 0.14.0, resolves rhbz#2129641 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #2129641 - python-h11-0.14.0 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2129641 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
