-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2023-e61bfc4027 2023-09-15 18:36:13.238208 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : nickle Product : Fedora 39 Version : 2.93 Release : 1.fc39 URL : https://nickle.org Summary : A programming language-based prototyping environment Description : Nickle is a programming language based prototyping environment with powerful programming and scripting capabilities. Nickle supports a variety of datatypes, especially arbitrary precision numbers. The programming language vaguely resembles C. Some things in C which do not translate easily are different, some design choices have been made differently, and a very few features are simply missing. Nickle provides the functionality of UNIX bc, dc and expr in much-improved form. It is also an ideal environment for prototyping complex algorithms. Nickle's scripting capabilities make it a nice replacement for spreadsheets in some applications, and its numeric features nicely complement the limited numeric functionality of text-oriented languages such as AWK and PERL. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: * Add hex float support to scanf and printf * Fix bug in multiply when one factor is a power of two -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Thu Aug 24 2023 Michel Alexandre Salim <salimma@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 2.93-1 - Update to 2.93 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #2232948 - nickle-2.93 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2232948 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
