-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2023-d4bb8376ae 2023-08-24 01:30:56.653164 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name : flatpak-module-tools Product : Fedora 38 Version : 1.0~a3 Release : 1.fc38 URL : https://pagure.io/flatpak-module-tools Summary : Tools for maintaining Flatpak applications and runtimes as Fedora modules Description : flatpak-module-tools is a set of command line tools (all accessed via a single 'flatpak-module' executable) for operations related to maintaining Flatpak applications and runtimes as Fedora modules. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This updates updates flatpak-module-tools to a new version that can build Flatpaks directly from packages, and adds koji-flatpak, a Koji plugin to build Flatpaks on the Koji builder nodes using flatpak-module-tools . The new flatpak-module-tools version has different command line options and no longer allows local module or module-based container tools (the name flatpak-**module**-tools is historical at this point.) It should, however still be compatible at a Python API level with OSBS (atomic reactor) and module based builds will still be possible through OSBS. https://hackmd.io/@owtaylor/testing-flatpaks-without-modules has notes on testing the new flatpak-module-tools -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Tue Aug 15 2023 Owen Taylor <otaylor@xxxxxxxxxx> - 1.0~a3-1 - New version - Fixes problem with triggers from flatpak-runtime-config not running for apps - Fixes local RPMs not working for 'flatpak-module build-container-local' - Makes bwrap invocation check more exact * Tue Aug 15 2023 Owen Taylor <otaylor@xxxxxxxxxx> - 1.0~a2-4 - Add a patch to debug why the test for working bwrap isn't working on the Koji builders. - Add some missing requires for flatpak-module-depchase * Thu Aug 10 2023 Owen Taylor <otaylor@xxxxxxxxxx> - 1.0~a2-3 - Build on x86_64 to avoid test failures * Thu Aug 10 2023 Owen Taylor <otaylor@xxxxxxxxxx> - 1.0~a2-2 - Avoid building on i386 to avoid test failures * Thu Aug 10 2023 Owen Taylor <otaylor@xxxxxxxxxx> - 1.0~a2-1 - Update to 1.0a2 - fixes Python-3.12 compatibility * Thu Aug 10 2023 Owen Taylor <otaylor@xxxxxxxxxx> - 1.0~a1-1 - Update to 1.0a1 - this is a major change that removes support for buiding Flatpaks with modules from the command line (the parts used by OSBS are still present in the Python API.) * Wed Jul 19 2023 Fedora Release Engineering <releng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - 0.13-9 - Rebuilt for https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_39_Mass_Rebuild * Thu Jun 15 2023 Python Maint <python-maint@xxxxxxxxxx> - 0.13-8 - Rebuilt for Python 3.12 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
