If "the first thing [you] do" is literally remove PulseAudio, then how would you know whether it works? Okay okay... you probably meant something like "I'm still waiting for PulseAudio to improve on my computer." But that's the real issue. In our ideal world, PulseAudio would coexist happily with JACK for every user. There are definitely problems to sort out, but the Right Thing To Do is ensure everything works together for everybody. I'd be happy with a a well-documented, easy-to-use method of removing PulseAudio. But this is Fedora, and at Fedora we aim for ideal situations and get there a few releases later. Ultimately I'll be happy with whatever the community decides to do, as long as everybody has a chance to participate. So why doesn't PulseAudio work for you? Can we make it work? Christopher. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJPRdlyAAoJEInCktGVqZ8VG+gH/3cfiXr4ho6ZoX5IrEIQ++uh wRGorQmx39BNoTPuvMklWNskAdO2fubn56hIjgf4ZscTl8Hub38NfYPGs2nx+aB+ xN/r68iEdS0F4YPWVLQ9IYeZZoA4LpCVaYQXUp6OVF8fxfaNDl0MXEhj5Tat7DVS d1HeDqo2lLhS/jY1D3fVhcGCqtvFk4QBIwjDyTjsmpKG1j/WWIDVFZZYmDPxyaZS vH5ueTpwdlv/kKx8pM+k6d/yhaN3Ki9EsJLK4Ku+Ty2ul7JAHBqLfAQT4mWL0t7E uZ1nPUTUqnBnFZV0sGaPZEhiHAZGV3/X7orRoQtZP/eqcSqC3pNpUX65pJnly2M= =HKQM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ music mailing list music@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/music
