fedora 15 vs. the rt kernel

Hi all, just a couple of comments about rt patched kernels and Fedora 15.

In short, it looks like 2.6.33.x is too old to work with the new systemd
startup system in Fedora 15. While I did manage to boot, shutting down
did not work (at least not cleanly) and others have not been able to
even boot "legacy" 2.6.33.x-rtxx kernels in Fedora 15. Apparently this
is the issue:

So, for now the only option seems to be to use the newest 2.6.39.1
kernel with threaded irqs active. This is _not_ a fully rt patched
kernel and my initial tests with the cyclictest utility show higher
latency hits than rt31. I'm currently building and testing packages.

Another option would be to revert (for now) from systemd to the previous
startup scripts. I don't know if that is even possible, maybe others in
the lists would be able to comment.
