Hi, the new 1.3.13 beta audacity was released a while ago. It's now available for testing, for Fedora 14 and Fedora 15 (and rawhide). I would like to get some feedback from others before Sunday night, including the basic: - does it run ? with audacity-manual installed (from Fedora) - does the help|Quick help and help|manual links work to load help content quickly (and without an internet connection) ? - some basic operations: name the menu items you tried. - recording: should see your waveform ? - playback: select, play: can you hear it ? - open, save, import, export... Should you choose to accept this mission, details follow: ===== Get them from: audacity/audacity-manual: now: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/audacity-1.3.13-0.4.beta.fc15 https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/audacity-1.3.13-0.4.beta.fc14 use the Builds link, and then choose your architecture to download, and then yum install (--nogpgcheck) soon: yum --enablerepo=updates-testing install audacity audacity-manual audacity-freeworld: yum --enablerepo=rpmfusion-free-updates-testing install audacity-freeworld If there is any crashes etc, please report to appropriate bugzilla: - audacity and audacity-manual to bugzilla.redhat.com search for existing bugs first: <https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=audacity> You can leave a comment in the relevant updates link, along with either positive or negative Karma regarding the update. - audacity-freeworld to bugzilla.rpmfusion.org search for existing bugs first: <https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&product=Fedora&component=audacity-freeworld> ===== This email will self replicate and be permanently stored on a series of mailing list archives.
