Many of the tips I see here are good ones for users to keep in mind.
A few of them need a bit of revision to be more understandable for
readers, but I can help with that. :-)
Once I do that, I think the article might get quite long, so I'm
considering breaking this into two articles. Both will get your
author name on them, of course!
