Hi, I'm happy to report progress regarding FOSCo, the Fedora Outreach Steering Committee. 1. We set up two wiki pages at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FOSCo and https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FOSCo_status 2. We have a representatives form all relevant groups * Ambassadors: cwickert and all FAmSCo members * Design team: gnokii * Marketing: jflory7 * CommOps: jflory7 * Websites: mailga * Docs: zoglesby * g11n: noriko For now all of them just volunteered to act as a point of contact while we bootstrap FOSCo. It's on the groups to decide whether they will be appoint somebody else later or just confirm the current representatives. robyduck has already volunteered to take over websites (he's just really busy atm) and noriko has indicated to step down at some point later. 3. We were able to schedule a brainstorm session with all representatives and FAmSCo members. It will take place in #fedora-council on Monday, August 18th at 13:00 UTC. Please join us! (I opted for #fedora-council as the other meeting channels have a tight schedule and only would allow for a 1,5h slot.) While we (mainly decause and me) initially set August 1st as deadline for FAmSCo to submit a final proposal to the council, I think it is important that we do it right and have the support from all teams, even if it takes a while. I'm confident that we can work something out for or during FLOCK and then we are basically back to the schedule we planned.
