I think this idea is fantastic, but I'm a little concerned about the name "affiliate".  That word is often used to represent a financial relationship between a company and another person or company who helps the first company get more sales in exchange for a percentage of the sale.  Since there's no financial relationship here, might it make sense to look for a different name to describe the relationship?
