I'm counting from the schedule initially set for Fedora 24, which had the alpha released mid-February. I'm expecting all of our release announcements to be read by folks who view them through a less nuanced lens than somebody hip-deep in the process. A good rule of thumb for this kind of thing - if you have to justify or explain something, it's wrong and should be taken out.
