Hi! I can't edit it so I must say that you both missed one sentence I sent in my email explaining why I use Kmail. Kmail integrates very well with other desktops, it's not KDE exclusive. I use Cinnamon and Kmail shows its alerts using my desktop notifications. Same happens with Kontact but isn't the topic of this article. I'd like this to be added because I think is important. Thunderbird and Evolution don't integrate as well. I don't know other clients.
