Actually, 1890x800 is what we use for the images -- because we want them to look good on 4K, Retina, and other HD displays. Once again, if you follow the instructions I laid out here -- making a graphic in SVG form following the template, and then using the built-in 'make <name>.jpg' rule, you'll get the right size. https://fedoramagazine.org/creating-a-featured-image-for-a-fedora-magazine-article/ If you do make that graphic in SVG form, mail it to me or Ryan and we'll be happy to add it to the repo.
