 I think this would definitely make it easier for people getting involved
 with either area - especially for the Community Blog too since that will
 likely end up with a wider range of authors in the long-term. I think for
 people who are logging in for the first time, this can be rather
 confusing.

 Also, since we're talking about login-related things, I feel like the
 Community Blog would be well-served to have a physical "Login" button
 somewhere on the page too (with that in mind, I also think the CommBlog
 permissions might need to checked so people don't have publish privileges
 on first login).
