I looked at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Marketing and says that the meetings are Thursdays.

Now I know that meetings are on monday.

Show up at meetings and on the mailing list, accept tasks and complete them. When I look around and see that you are "doing stuff" when checking out the group requests I will approve it. If no one "just does it" before that.
