[In the news] Phoronix: Fedora 19 Installer Comes For Google Nexus 4

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

"An installer has come about to easily install Fedora 19 for ARM on the
unlocked Google Nexus 4 smart-phone.

This isn't some new official Fedora Linux project or an initiative about
having a Fedora phone to compete with Ubuntu's smart-phone/tablet
efforts, but rather it's an installer released by Rob Clark. Rob's
efforts have been to enrich the Freedreno Gallium3D graphics driver that
he started as a reverse-engineering effort of the Qualcomm Snapdragon
graphics core. In supporting the Qualcomm A320 graphics he's been using
a Nexus 4. "
