Re: Linux Counter

A cooperation between both projects could actually help us both in a very good way, thats just my throught.
I've actually runned across it when finding numbers to use for the SWOT, and I have to say those are to find, but they seem legit and they provide a very good scope of the universe we're in ;)

I think everyone should actually embrace that initiative as studies in qualitatitative and quantitative data on FOSS/Linux are scarce at least, and this project provides some nice approaches and numbers. I hope to see it grow.

I started cooperating with guys of Linux Counter in 2005, as
far as I registered early.
Data are not homogenus and the counter is not well known.
A good idea could be if after sending hardware information,
was proposed to the Fedora user a registration to the
counter, also anonymous, like fedora-nnnnnnn-user.
Think about.
