I would have found this rather offensive now, if I didn't knew that was a quite unfortunate chose of wordings from your side. You have explained the issue, we agreed that it's a problem. I still personally think you should separate the page to be pt_PT and pt_BR. Paul indicated a good plan to follow, I would go with it.
