Rahul, good write-up explaining some of these changes. I get the feeling, though, from having listened to LAS for quite a while, that these guys are far more interested in superficialities than the work that actually goes into free software. For instance, one of the hosts says up front that Fedora "sucks," but yet he goes on to agree with every positive point made by the other host except for the Nodoka theme and the Plymouth fallback to text mode. Another point that had me scratching my head was the same host indicating that Fedora had a lot of features that were in Ubuntu 8.10. This is certainly true, but the differentiator is that many of these features were *built* by Fedora contributors, inside and outside Red Hat. It's important for us to keep emphasizing this fact. Overall, the Artwork team seems to be picking up great kudos for their work, which is wonderful. It would be nice, though, to see reviewers pay more attention to what's under the hood. I expect this is a problem reflective of the Sturgeon 90% principle rather than something specific to Fedora or free software. -- Paul W.
