That's because LGM started like this: "hey, instead ov having a yearly GIMP conference, let's meet with people from other projects too". And the number of participants increased year over year. I am quite positive that if video software developers would participate they will be received with open hands (and arguably, video editing has a foot in the door at LGM with Blender, which may be used for video).

I wonder if there is a separate conference for FOSS video tools.
