Apple today is not the Apple of 2004 or early, Apple now can be considered more Microsoft like than *nix like. I agree with those that considered to use Ubuntu instead of Apple Operating System but i think that Mac Os X and Ubuntu are different: the first one is a multimedia station, the second one is a productivity station.
