One other baby step from Win to FOSS is TheOpenCD.
It has a lot of useful applications like OOo, and a few games. It gets
people use to the applications before they take the plunge with their OS.
A word of caution if you use TheOpenCD... There is a live Ubuntu on the
disc. I wonder how many freak outs that's caused? Can you imagine
forgetting to remove the disc and seeing the Live Disc booting up?
Especially if you don't know it's live.
