If we can finalize the FC 5 press release today, we can convert it to the XML and make it available for translations. The folks who worked on the release-notes might be available. Otherwise, someone can manually load it into i18n.redhat.com. - Karsten -------- Forwarded Message -------- From: Karsten Wade <kwade@xxxxxxxxxx> Reply-To: For participants of the Documentation Project <fedora-docs- list@xxxxxxxxxx> To: For participants of the Documentation Project <fedora-docs- list@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Press release translation Date: Tue, 14 Mar 2006 12:15:21 -0800 On Tue, 2006-03-14 at 14:12 +0100, Francesco Ugolini wrote: > I've pause the translation of FC4 Installation Guide and i've started > to traduce the Press release for fedora core 5, when is avaiable i > post is in the m-list. I don't think the content is final. Are there any plans for others to translate? To translate, we are converting to XML in CVS. We have a simple press- release module we are using. I'm sorry there isn't better coordination around translation. I thought we were going to use the Fedora Translation Project and the tools for locking/unlocking files from CVS. But I have not heard back from any of the Translation leaders/members about that. We will try to finalize the press release and get it into a (new) CVS module, then announce it ready for translation. I'll see about this today. - Karsten -- fedora-docs-list mailing list fedora-docs-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-docs-list -- Karsten Wade, RHCE * Sr. Tech Writer * http://people.redhat.com/kwade/ gpg fingerprint: 2680 DBFD D968 3141 0115 5F1B D992 0E06 AD0E 0C41 Content Services Fedora Documentation Project http://www.redhat.com/docs http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DocsProject
