We're marketing a project not a product

There is no Fedora product; we're marketing a project

I think this is important to note (and the archives to keep mention of),
that there is no Fedora as a product. We're The Fedora Project, so we're
marketing that

The project includes a GNU/Linux distribution, as well as
Extras/Alternatives/Legacy, as well as documentation, developers, and
people - both Red Hat & independent

Product marketing we leave to Red Hat Sales, for RHEL/RHD. Project
marketing RH Sales will not do well - remember, sales are driven by
commissions, and you get zilch from The Fedora Project

At the same time, we play nice (just like RH Sales does) - you NEVER
diss the product, you only promote the project. Be honest - when people
ask for support, be honest and say RH don't offer support for the
project (but if you're a local community contact and know that there are
companies that do, by all means, let them survive :P)

So we're not asking you to be free salesmen and women for RH, but we're
making it clear that there is no dissing of said company or their
products

Comments always welcome, I'm just spewing so that we make sure all this
is documented, and thoughts are clear, from the start
