Alternatively, did you consider that this might be cause by a partial synced mirror, thus one where the meta data and the actual packages are out of sync? Maybe a simple retry will make the problem go away?
I have tried again a few times without success but the local rawhide copy is a few days old which could be be a reason. I only have more bandwidth at office and today is a holiday locally. If this just disappears with the latest rawhide, I don't have to worry about this.
