I asked a fedora licensing expert some weeks ago in private for his
opinion on moving my ipw2[12]00-firmware packages from another 3rd-party
repo to FE. I didn't get an answer yet. :-(

If anyone wants to submit those firmware packages to Extras feel free to
take my packages up and submit them for FE-review.

I have also used ipw2200-firmware scheme to make an ipw2200-ap-fw
But i didn't riched to build the kmod yet for ipw2200-ap witch should allow master mode on centrino!
but this is far from been integrated on extras for now...

I have also build zd1211-firmware which driver (zd1211rw and zd1211) are included in linux.
Users seem to report firmware errors when they do not have this firmware (which is normal!).
But I do not have much feedback when providing this solution...users don't came back like if it naturally work.
I connot test it myself so, you can pick it here:
http://kwizart.free.fr/fedora/6/i386/zd1211-firmware-1.2-1.kwizart.fc6.noarch.rpm

Does this firmware can be allowed on FE ? I will submit it then!
