Yep top level package (aka nothing depends on it), and for people
running php it can have huge benifits. Many other such packages such as php-Smarty, php-json, php-pecl-mailparse etc that are very usefull to people who use php .. so why not include them in the comps? -- Chris Toshio Kuratomi wrote: On Wed, 2006-08-16 at 12:27 +0200, Patrice Dumas wrote:On Wed, Aug 16, 2006 at 07:52:18AM +0200, Chris Chabot wrote:Hmmm where to put php-pecl-apc .. its an addon (byte code cache) for php, so it doesn't really fit well under 'web servers', and i saw there's no php packages included in the comps at all yetIs it really necessary to have php-pecl-apc in comps at all? It's a toplevel package, isn't it? In other words, nothing depends on it so if it's not selected by the user from comps, it won't get installed? -Toshio |
