Hi folks, I'm trying to review the torque package and mock builds have been routinely failing for me. I'm running FC4 on i383. If I look in the logs, I see: $ more /var/lib/mock/fedora-4-i386-core/result/mockconfig.log ...lots 'o stuff snipped... Executing /usr/sbin/mock-helper yum --installroot /var/lib/mock/fedora-4-i386-core/root groupinstall build http://newmirror.linux.duke.edu/pub/fedora/linux/core/4/i386/os/repodata/primary.xml.gz: [Errno 4] Socket Error: timed out Trying other mirror. Error: failure: repodata/primary.xml.gz from core: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. Cleaning up... Executing /usr/sbin/mock-helper umount /var/lib/mock/fedora-4-i386-core/root/proc Executing /usr/sbin/mock-helper umount /var/lib/mock/fedora-4-i386-core/root/dev/pts Done. Is there something I can do locally to fix this? The local mock builds have always been slow for me but this is really frustrating... thanks, Ed -- Edward H.
