I checked this again. For debugging purposes I added 'set -x' to
/usr/lib/rpm/brp-strip and found out that at least all binaries are stripped
with -g option:
strip -g /var/tmp/gdal-1.3.1-2-root-silke/usr/bin/gdaltindex

Any ideas how I can proceed to debug the problem?
