[games sig] Use of seperate -data version if in same specfile?

Hi,

I'm busy packaging worminator:
http://sf.net/projects/worminator/

And I wonder what the use of a seperate data package such as is done with tong is if its build from the same spec, in this case an update to the game logic / executable will also automaticly rebuild the -data subpackage, thus no bandwith is saved by the users when they update.

Shouldn't the -data package thus be in a seperate spec?

Regards,

Hans
