It uses Math::Pari(3), a perl interface to the blazingly fast PARI library, for big integer arithmetic and number theoretic computations. Crypt::RSA provides arbitrary size key-pair generation, plaintext-aware encryption (OAEP) and digital signatures with appendix (PSS).
