I just tried to install faces-pm (project management). It wants wxPython. I did yum install wxPythonGTK2. This grabbed: Installed: wxPythonGTK2.x86_64 0:2.4.2.4-7 Dependency Installed: compat-wxGTK-common.x86_64 0:2.4.2-16.fc5 compat-wxGTK2.x86_64 0:2.4.2-16.fc5 compat-wxGTK2-gl.x86_64 0:2.4.2-16.fc5 Now fire up faces: raceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/faces", line 2, in ? from faces.gui.plangui import main File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/faces/gui/plangui.py", line 36, in ? import wx.html File "/usr/lib64/python2.4/site-packages/wx/__init__.py", line 45, in ? from wxPython import wx File "/usr/lib64/python2.4/site-packages/wxPython/__init__.py", line 20, in ? import wxc ImportError: /usr/lib64/libwx_gtk2-2.4.so.0: undefined symbol: pango_x_get_context Not sure what's going on, but I notice that faces says it should use wxGTK-2.6. Seems wxPythonGTK2 is using wxGTK-2.4. Many packages I see are now requiring 2.6.
