Honestly? I'd say that, at this point, the "Fedora Education Initiative" is more aspirational than factual.

There are a couple of other projects that are interesting:

1. Increased interaction between K12LTSP and Fedora. Warren Togami, Eric Harrison and Toshio Kuratomi will all be working on this at FUDCon Raleigh 2008.

2. OLPC stuff. They need a lot of help, and so much of what they do is based on Fedora.

If anyone is interested in Fedora in education, I'd currently push people to one of those two initiatives.
