I attended last year, and it is probably the best writing conference I;ve been to (though I've only been to a handful). I found it exceptionally useful and practical. Eventually, they may post slides or recordings (I know they recorded every session last year), so it may be possible to follow along. I think they also did twitter updates.

There is also an EU version of the conference.  There is a mailing
list form on the second link, so if you're local to Portland, Oregon
USA, it may be worth signing up to hear about the next event in
advance.
