    Hi Leslie,

    
    Have you created an FAS account? Really, the only 'formal'
    distinction - besides active participation - is getting sponsored
    for membership in the docs FAS group. You and I have talked about a
    lot of the docs procedural stuff, so I won't hash over it again, but
    feel free to ask if you have questions.

    
    As you've said you primarily want to contribute reviews, I think
    Docs QA[1] might be a good fit for you. QA contacts review guides to
    identify outdated content or undocumented changes and communicate
    them to the guide owners.  It would be best to review They also
    perform QA on bugs[2]. The docs-qa mailing list[3] is the default QA
    contact for all of our guides, and would ideally be used for docs QA
    related discussion.

    
    I do feel obligated to remind you, though: we don't do machine
    translation. The primary function of docs QA, as stated in the
    guidelines linked below, is to identify technical shortcomings
    (deprecated information, new features, etc)  and blatant writing
    errors (spelling, broken links, etc).  Many of our writers are also
    multilingual, but there aren't that many of us! If the information
    is current and functionally correct, rewriting copy that has already
    been written and translated just isn't a good use of our time.
