Moving the list of contributors off the front page, especially if it's replaced with the author "Contributors to the Fedora Documentation Project" or something like that, also emphasizes the collaborative nature of our authorship process. Besides, when you have so many contributors on the front page, nobody really knows what it means. Readers might see the names, but could still ask "Who are they? Why these people? How did they get involved, and how can I join them?"
