61 Days until Fedora 16 Guide Branch

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

It's funny to think that Fedora 16 is right around the corner, but it
is! On 30 August, all guides are scheduled to be branched for Fedora
16 and POT files submitted to Transifex for the translators to begin
their work.

As the song goes, "we've got a long way to go and a short time to get
there" so if you need any help please speak up!

Last year we listed goals[0] on the wiki and I'd like to do the same
for this release[1]. Why is this page so important? First it keeps
you, the guide "owner", on track. It's a good place to put links or
goals so you remember what you want to do. Second, when someone has
some free cycles and are looking for ways to help out there is a
centralized location where they can go to find tasks. Last, it helps
me out with knowing what guides to expect for F16 so marketing can
occur.

So if you are working on a guide please go to the wiki[1] and add your
guide and your goals.
