There are still a few Release Notes beats that need a little love and present an opportunity for new contributors, especially those who are still a little squeamish on Publican or git. On the beats page https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Category:Documentation_beats there are several beats where the "Wiki Good" column contains a red zero. These are prime candidates. If you look at the beat page, it will contain links to a number of feature pages. These feature pages describe the feature, and often have proposed release notes text. If you choose to work on one of these, first, replace the red zero with your nick so somebody else doesn't go working on the same beat. Then provide a short description for each feature. Often, you can begin by simple pasting in the prose from the feature page. However, sometimes you will find that the prose needs a little polish. Other times it may be too terse and you will want to fill in a little more detail based on the rest of the feature page. Sometimes the feature will be involved and you may want to provide links to more detailed sources, possibly even the feature page. Simply do what makes sense. When you have the wiki complete, mark the Wiki Good column with a 1. If you are ambitious, you might then begin converting the wiki content to Publican. If you do, be sure to place the admonition at the top of the wiki page that the content is stable (look at other completed wiki pages for examples). Once the conversion to XML is complete, place a 1 in the "In Publican" column. If you aren't comfortable with the Publican conversion, that's OK. The more experienced folks can do the conversion. Some of these folks get really good at it! Thanks in advance for your help --McD -- docs mailing list docs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/docs
