#22: Add content detailing dirty ntfs partitions and how parted handles it. -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: ke4qqq | Owner: quaid Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: minor | Milestone: RC-ready Component: Content | Version: 10.0.0 Keywords: | -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Parted is super concerned with safeness of operations. If parted sees any potential for an unsuccessful operation it will not begin. Most commonly this is caused by a 'dirty' ntfs partition - ie a partition that was shut down uncleanly. Parted will error that it's a dirty partition and advise to run chkdsk /f. This may require up to two other reboots. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/install-guide/ticket/22> Fedora Installation Guide <https://fedorahosted.org/install-guide/> Fedora Documentation - Installation Guide -- fedora-docs-list mailing list fedora-docs-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-docs-list
