Right, this was an anaconda-devel decision. Another reason is, Anaconda is used to install various spins of Fedora. Since those spins can (and often do) contain updated packages, the original release notes content produced for GA may be out of date for those packages. It might even contain contradictory information that would cause problems if followed. It was a bit hard seeing the button go away after all these years :), but it's always been a PITA to get the HTML to display, and I agree with anaconda-devel that we don't want to have updating release notes content a requirement for a spin. - Karsten -- Karsten Wade, Developer Community Mgr.
