I do have a /home/karl/.ssh/ directory and it has:
[karl@k5di .ssh]$ ls
id_dsa id_dsa.pub known_hosts
I think when I put the full address of id_dsa it works on the
register page. But FA8EC752 has never worked in the pgpID entry on the
register form. This may be because I'm not on the MIT list?
